Discovering moments of awesome in my garden spaces has provided appreciation and thrills for years. Growing something beautiful and/or useful is awesome! My name is Jennifer and the science of plants fascinates me. I have a degree in Biology and later received a certification in horticulture. Being involved with the local Master Gardener program is really what began my own gardening journey. Then later, working in the MG program for my local Agricultural extension office allowed me to pursue different avenues of gardening and share that store of knowledge with others. I learned a lot and have tried to put that knowledge to practical use. Sometimes it was Awesome and sometimes it wasn’t!
In this series of entries I hope to share knowledge and offer encouragement. Whether a new gardener or an enthusiastic indentured gardener it is undeniable that gardening always has a chance for Awesome.
